Recently my brother Ricky and his wife Britney found out they were having a boy. Everyone is so excited for them and for our family name. It is a silly thing but, also a serious thing. Let me explain, my dad is an only boy and he had only one boy (my brother Ricky). So, from my Grandpa Bandley's line, it was vital for Ricky to have a boy to carry on the family name. Granted this is Ricky & Britney's first child but, say they never had at least one boy the Bandley name would end with my brother. Us Bandley's would be lost for ever...ha ha ha! So here is a shout out to Ricky and Britney for pulling through and giving us Bandley's a light at the end of the tunnel! Congratulations! Love ya!

So true. That is a serious thing. My moms maiden name is lost forever cause she has all sistas. It is so sad.
